Shell Names Russia Head

Charles Watson on Tuesday became executive vice president for Russia and the Caspian region at Royal Dutch Shell, reporting directly to the executive committee. He replaces Chris Finlayson, who has been working in Russia for four years and has been promoted to another managerial position. Watson will also replace Finlayson as Shell's Russia country chair and chairman of Sakhalin Energy, an operator of the Gazprom-led Sakhalin-2 project on the Russian Pacific shelf, the company said.
