PNG LNG to Have Finance Offers by July

The US$11 billion Exxon Mobil-led Papua New Guinea (PNG) LNG project could have financing offers as early as July, a source close to the scheme told International Oil Daily on Monday. According to the Australian Financial Review, more than half the funding could come from export credit agencies, and the rest from commercial banks, bonds and even Exxon. Exxon representatives in PNG declined to comment on the newspaper report.
