Jordan has reportedly wrapped up talks with Estonia's Eesti Energi on developing domestic oil shale resources and building a power plant fed by shale oil (IOD Sep.1,p2). A draft agreement will soon be sent to the cabinet for approval, Maher Hijazin, director-general of Jordan's Natural Resources Authority, told the Amman-based Ad-Dustour newspaper.
