Chevron Has Highest-Value Australasian Portfolio, Woodmac Says

Chevron holds the highest value upstream oil and gas portfolio of any company operating in Australasia, underpinned by its share of the North West Shelf (NWS) venture and Gorgon and Wheatstone LNG projects, consultants Wood Mackenzie say. The US major jumped to the top of the table, leapfrogging BHP Billiton, Woodside Petroleum and Royal Dutch Shell, the three highest-ranked firms in Woodmac's last assessment in 2004.
