India's Oil and Natural Gas Corp. (ONGC) has sought an extension of a Nigerian deadline for the payment of a signature bonus to get back to highly prospective deep-sea oil blocks in the African nation.ONGC Videsh Ltd. (OVL), the overseas arm of the state explorer, has told Nigerian authorities that it may need at least two more months to decide on paying the $291 million signature bonus to get a 60% stake in Blocks 321 and 323.
