UK North Sea Survey Sees Upturn in Business Confidence

Most UK North Sea oil and gas producers are feeling more positive about the economic outlook for 2010, thanks to the recent recovery in oil prices. But regional activity has suffered - in the short term, at least - and the oil service sector is still reeling from the impact of the global recession. A new quarterly survey published Wednesday by industry body Oil & Gas UK (OGUK) reveals that business confidence in the offshore supply chain remains fragile.
