Australia's Woodside Petroleum has been banned from restarting production from its Vincent oil field until parts of the production ship damaged by fire last week "are fit for service and do not pose a risk to safe operations," Australia's National Offshore Petroleum Safety Authority (Nopsa) said Wednesday (IOD Apr.16,p7). Woodside shut the field, about 43 km off Western Australia in the Exmouth sub-basin, after a fire broke out Apr. 13 aboard the Maersk Ngujima-Yin floating production, storage and offloading vessel.
