The bludgeoning that crude oil and other com- modity markets took last week did not spare US products, with outright jet fuel prices falling around 15￠ per gallon and into the $2.12-$2.17 range. Like the rest of the energy complex, the sharp sell-off brought jet fuel prices closer in step with supply-demand fundamentals, in which markets have shown little interest during the past month or more.
