Moscow Reveals More Rosneft Sale Details

Moscow has unveiled more details about the planned privatization of Russia's biggest oil producer, Rosneft, which will involve swapping shares for assets overseas. Under the plan outlined by the Econom- ic Development Ministry, the government will sell a 25% stake in the oil major by 2015. The sale will be in two parts - 15% will be offered on the open market and 10% exchanged for assets, although the as- set swaps will only go ahead if they in- crease Rosneft's market capitalization, now around $73 billion.
