A mix of water and diesel leaked from an underground fuel line at Suncor's 130,000 b/d Montreal refinery into the St. Lawrence River Tuesday night, a company spokesman said Wednesday. A total of 35 barrels of diesel leaked into the river. All but five barrels are expected to be recovered and removed from the river. “Booms were installed and everything is con- tained,” said Frederic Gauthier, a spokesman for Environment Canada.
