Gunvor Tops Rosneft Tenders

Total, Gunvor and Itochu have won a Ros-neft tender to lift the Russian state-controlled firm's crude oil exports from Baltic and Black Sea ports in the six months starting in April.Total and Gunvor have split volumes out of the Baltic Sea port of Primorsk, where Rosneft was offering 3 million-5 million metric tons (21.99 million-36.65 million bbl) over the six months. Itochu won the right to lift at least one cargo per month from Berth 1 at the Black Sea port of Novorossiysk. Maximum volumes on offer were 2.5 million tons (18.35 million bbl). This is the first time Itochu has won a Rosneft tender, and traders believe it could be fronting for Glencore or Mercuria, neither of which was invited to bid.
