Russia's PetroAlliance has completed seismic work for an international consortium set up to explore the Uzbek sector of the inland Aral Sea, the Prime-Tass news agency said Tuesday, citing state-run Uzbekneftegaz.A 2-D seismic survey has been completed on the area that covers 2,300 sq km, including 450 km offshore, 1,540 km onshore and 310 km of so-called "transit area." The program's investment totaled $45 million, said the services company, which is controlled by international heavyweight Schlumberger.
