BP has yet to make a final proposal to Russia's Lukoil on terms of acquiring the UK supermajor's stake in the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) pipeline and a minor holding in the massive Tengiz oil field in Kazakhstan. "Negotiations have been completed but we are still waiting for the offer from BP," a Lukoil source tells International Oil Daily. A BP spokesman in Russia says many issues still need to be agreed. Price could be the stumbling block, sources say.
