Petrovietnam with partners PTTEP of Thailand and Algeria's state Sonatrach are pushing ahead with plans to develop the Bir Seba field in Blocks 433a and 416b in Algeria. The three partners this week signed a joint venture agreement to start producing oil at an initial rate of 20,000 b/d from 2011.
