YPF May List in Brazil, US

Repsol YPF is considering launching an initial public offering (IPO) of Argentine subsidiary YPF on multiple stock exchanges in Argentina, Brazil and the US, Chairman Antonio Brufau said at the weekend. Brufau reportedly told an industry conference that the Argentine exchange is too small for Repsol's purposes and it needs bigger markets for a successful listing, even though it wants Argentine investors to take a large portion of the listed group.
