Exxon Mobil, Royal Dutch Shell, BP and Chevron have lined up to study the deep gas potential of Bahrain's Awali field (IOD Nov.5,p1). They are among 20 companies that have booked to visit the Awali data rooms since they were opened on Feb. 15 by National Oil and Gas Authority (Noga) and Bahrain Petroleum Co.(Bapco), a Bapco source tells International Oil Daily. More firms, including Russia's Gazprom, are expected to make appointments before the data room closes on Apr. 23.
