The participants of Browse LNG project have accepted renewal offers for retention leases offered by the Joint Authority and Western Australian Minister for Mines and Petroleum, operator Woodside said last Thursday. The acceptance was a response to a 30- day deadline imposed by the government earlier this month. The partners were to decide whether to accept the government's terms and conditions, which require them to select a preferred development concept within four months and work toward achieving a final investment decision by mid 2012 (IOD Dec.3,p4).
