Gassco Talks to Norway Users

The Norwegian oil ministry has mandated state-run grid operator Gassco to create a forum that brings together industrial enterprises seeking to use natural gas in Norway, with the remit of increasing their consumption. "An arena of this kind should aim to discuss plans to exploit existing infrastructure for Norwegian gas, for further development of this infrastructure, and for gas liquefaction and regasification facilities," the mandate said. Gassco said it will submit initial plans to the ministry by the end of this month.
