Iceland's National Energy Authority (NEA) has postponed the country's first-ever oil and gas upstream licensing round after the only two applicants said they weren't interested (IOD Jan.23,p9). "National Energy Authority will not be issuing a license for exploration and production in the first licensing round," a statement said. "Further licensing is being evaluated by the authorities and will be announced soon."
