Singapore plans to take Qatar up on an of- fer to supply LNG because of concerns over future gas deliveries from neighboring In- donesia, the city-state’s elder statesman, Lee Kuan Yee, said Tuesday. Singapore has already finalized a deal to buy 3 million tons per year of LNG from UK gas giant BG starting in 2013-14, with most of the cargoes expected to come from the Queensland Curtis LNG project in Australia.
