Inpex Sells Masela Stake

Japan's Inpex has transferred a 10% stake in Indonesia's Masela Block, in the Arafura Sea, to Indonesian oil firm Energi Mega Persada. The block is home to the Abadi gas field, which will be developed as a floating LNG project. Inpex said Wednesday that it is preparing for front-end engineering and design work on the project, and production will start by 2016.
