Agency Sees Modest Growth in US Energy Consumption Through 2035

Policies aimed at promoting green energy, coupled with higher energy prices, will limit growth in US energy consumption through 2035, according to the US Energy Information Administration's (EIA) latest annual long-term forecast. Total primary energy consumption will grow by a fairly modest 14% between 2008 and 2035, according an initial release of the EIA's 2010 reference case projections.
