Norwegian gas shipper Golar LNG said Thursday that it has inked a deal with Thailand's state PTT Exploration and Production (PTTEP) to jointly develop a floating LNG (FLNG) project in northwestern Australia. A memorandum of understanding to develop an FLNG and invest in projects worldwide was signed in August last year. Golar and PTTEP will participate on a 50-50 basis, Golar said.
