Indonesian PGN Gets More Gas

Facing severe gas shortages, Indonesian state distributor Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) has reportedly secured additional supplies from domestic producers Medco Energi and Pertamina. Medco will supply 20 MMcf/d of gas to PGN customers in Java between mid-April and October at a price of $4.20/MMBtu. Pertamina will extend its supply contract for 65/MMcf/d from June to December at a price of more than $5/MMBtu (IOD Mar.31,p6).
