Vietnam will start producing gasoline from the second half of April at the country's first refinery, following the start of a crude distillation unit (CDU) over the weekend, International Oil Daily was told.The 140,000 barrel per day Dung Quat refinery, 100% owned by state Petrovietnam, which will run on local Bach Ho crude, started producing naphtha, kerosene and gas oil over the weekend and the first flows of products were transported to a depot via an 8 kilometer pipeline on Tuesday, according to state media. Output will be targeted at the domestic market (IOD Jul.29,p7).
