Russian oil major Lukoil decided to postpone certification of crude it began to produce last year from the South Khylchuyu field in the northern Timan-Pechora oil province. The field is being developed together with ConocoPhillips. Lukoil's vice president Valery Subbotin told International Oil Daily that other types of crude could be pumped through the pipeline, which now ships oil from South Khylchuyu to world markets via the Varandey Arctic terminal.
