摘要

A new cobalt aluminophosphate, named LMU-3, has been synthesized from a synthesis mixture containing the 1,1'-dimethylcobalticinium complex cation as a cobalt source. Although the yield of the compound is very low, single crystals can be obtained and a crystal structure analysis has been carried out. The structure of LMU-3 is related to that of a nickel aluminophosphate with the formula K[Ni(H2O)(2)Al-2(PO4)(3)]. It possesses an open framework built up from distorted ICoO6] octahedra, [AlO5] trigonal byramids and [PO4] tetrahedra. The still somewhat tentative formula for LMU-3 is NH4[Co(H2O)(2)Al2P3O12]. It crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c (No. 15) with a = 13.110(2), b = 10.163(15), c = 8.7424(14) Angstrom, beta = 108.830(13)degrees, V = 1102.8 Angstrom(3) and Z = 4.
