Guyana Officials to Grant Liza Production License Soon

Guyana’s government said it is close to granting a production license to Exxon Mobil for work at the offshore Liza project, which is estimated to hold as much as 1.4 billion barrels of oil equivalent of recoverable resources. The license must be granted before a final investment decision for Liza is made, and the government said it expects that decision to be made this month.
