Spat Shakes Majors’ Holdings in Qatar

Qatar has had its differences with its fellow Arab states Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain in the past, but the current diplomatic spat is verging on a crisis (related). There are still plenty of reasons to believe the sides will repair the diplomatic break, which the Saudis officially say is linked to Qatar’s support of a laundry list of terrorist activities, but if relations continue to deteriorate it could endanger the billions of dollars of investments in Qatar’s energy sector.
