Leitner's revolutionary urban transport system in the headlines

The MiniMetro built by Leitner in Perugia with architectural assistance by Jean Nouvel has got off to a highly successful start following the official opening on 29 January 2008. Perugia, the main city in the Italian region of Umbria, was previously noted for the escalators built in the 1980s to carry visitors up to the historical city center. But now there is another way to access the beautiful Old Town: using the first MiniMetro from the house of Leitner.
