Oil Output Starts November Flat

Oil production in the US stayed at 11.5 million b/d last week, according to estimates from the US Energy Information Administration(EIA). The agency rounds its weekly estimates of overall US oil production as well as that from the lower 48 states to the nearest 100,000 b/d. Crude output in the lower 48, which includes offshore operations in the US Gulf of Mexico, also held steady at 11.1 million b/d in the week ended Nov. 5.
