摘要

Studies were carried out with the aim of finding the temperature-dependence of Duralink HTS in typical steel cord skim compounds. It has been found that the mixing temperature plays key role in Duralink HTS compounding. Mixing at 130-135 deg C has a negative impact, while mixing at temperatures above 150 deg C has a positive impact on the retention of adhesion especially after ageing in various conditions. This phenomnon was elucidated using thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA).
