摘要

Aromatic polyamides(PAs)and polyamide esters(PAEs),possessing unique properties such as increased heat resistance,impact strength,thermotropicity,etc.,are widely used in different sectors of industry[1,2].However,their high melting and softening points,limited solubility,and considerable macromolecular rigidity make the processing of these polymers difficult[3].We synthesised PAs and PAEs based on triarylmethane-series diamines.Polyamide esters were produced by low-temperature copolycondensation of the initial monomers in an N-methylpyrrolidone(MP)solution in an inert atmosphere.The initial substances were 4,4'-diaminotriphenylmethane(obtained by the procedure described in reference[4]),hydroquinone,and terephthalic and isophthalic acid dichlorides.The scheme of the reaction of PAE production can be presented as in Scheme 1.
