Corrado Tamburino is interventional cardiology and full professor in cardiology at the University of Catania Medical School, Catania, Italy. Professor Tamburino was president of the Italian Society of Interventional Cardiology. Throughout his career he has maintained an active role in teaching, training and clinical practice. He has published and lectured widely, both in Italy and overseas.
