The influence of the nature of the metal oxide on the process of peroxide vulcanisation of SKF-32 fluorine-containing rubber

Earlier, the long-term outlook of using home-produced organic peroxides on a mineral support in the vulcanisation of SKF-32 fluorine-containing rubber was shown [1]. In the opinion of Nudel'man [2], metal oxides fulfil two functions in the peroxide vulcanisation of fluorine-containing rubbers: they are activators of the process and they bind the hydrogen fluoride formed.
