Design of plastics products with a view to recycling Partll. The role of designing of constructions and production processes

In Part of this article we discussed economic aspects and selection of appropriate materials when designing plastics products, with a view to their future recycling, and we shall now present additional criteria that designers must take into account, viz: product shape, minimisation of the quantity of material, constructions with easier disassembly, separation and combining of utility functions, marking of plastics components, advantageous methods of production and processing, and transport.
