摘要

It is well known [1,2] that the use of styrene-isoprene-butadiene terpolymers (SIBK) in rubber compounds for tyres instead of a combination of several rubbers opens up additional possibilities for the production of tyres that meet the increasingly stringent requirements concerning such properties as rolling losses, holding properties, and wear resistance. Furthermore, improvement of these characteristics is possible by chemical modification of the polymer, for example by using branching agents or agents containing polar groups, and also by combining these methods [3-7].
