摘要

Among the large number of protective materials available,most effective are composite materials based on chlorosulphonated polyethylene(CSPE).This is due to the fact that CSPE not only has low flammability and is capable of self-extringuishing but also possesses high chemical resistance,good adhesion to different surfaces,and low gas permeability.These properties are governed by the absence of non-saturation in the polymer chain and by the presence of highly active sulphochloride groups which retard combustion of the material.
