摘要

An investigation was made of the modifying effect of finishing additives of polyvinyl alcohol and SKN-8 nitrite butadiene rubber on the elastic strength and dissipative relaxation properties of single-layer glass-fibre-reinforced plastics based on polyethylene and polyamine matrices. It was shown that these modifying additives promote a reduction in residual internal stresses at the phase boundary, greater adhesion interaction between the surface of the reinforcing glass fibres and the thermoplastic polymer matrix, and accordingly strengthening of the polymer composites, especially in the case of a polyethylene matrix.
