A new chlorine-containing rubber for compounds in the sealing layer of radial tyres

In the Russian tyre industry,over the past decade there has been a marked increase in the proportion of tubeless tyres in which halogen-containing rubbers are used for the compound in the sealing layer [1].These are chiefly chlorine-containing butyl rubbers produced by solution halogenation,with different contents of combined chlorine.
