In Part 2 [1 ], data were given on the dependence of the rebound resilience, the coefficient of cold resistance, the hardness, the Goodrich heat generation, the nominal strength, the tear strength, and a number of dynamic indices of tread rubbers on the ratio of plasticiser Tofinol to softener PN-6. In the present communication, an examination is made of the effect of exposure to heat on the mechanical properties of rubber compounds.
