摘要

Composites made from thermoplastic engineering polymers and natural cellulose fibres have attracted considerable interest in recent years.These materials,also known as biocomposites,are characterised by partial biodegradability(ref.1),good mechanical properties comparable with those of glass fibre reinforced plastics,and also low density(ref.3).The natural components in such composites make it possible to use a cheap,renewable and often recycled fibrous filler(ref.4).
