Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is one of the most widely used polymers in the national economy, which is due to its comparatively low cost and the possibility of various types of modification, and the production, on account of this, of a large range of PVC-based materials and products. However, because of its lower resistance to thermal, thermo-oxidative, photo-oxidative, and other foctors, PVC cannot be used without first being stabilised at the processing stage (ref. 1).
