Recent Acquisitions Expand Dameron Alloy Foundries' Reach into Aerospace and International Markets: New Operation in Mexico also Contributes to Growth

Two acquisitions and the addition of a new operation in Mexico in the past year have expanded Dameron Alloy Foundries' reach into aerospace and international markets. The most recent acquisitions include Shogun Precision Castings of Compton, CA in September, and Precision MicroCast of Ventura, CA in July. In addition, Dafmex, a new operation in Mexicali, Mexico poured its first production castings late this spring. These major milestones, following closely on the heels of the acquisition of Truecast Inc. of Louisville, KY in the spring of 2002, and a joint venture agreement with Strong-Metals, an investment casting foundry in China in late 2001, has put the company in a strong position in today's global economy. President and Chief Executive Officer John Dameron indicated the recent acquisitions serve as an asset builder for Dameron.
