Precision Propeller, Inc. (PPI) was founded in 1969 in Indianapolis, IN initially as a marine propeller repair shop but later evolved into an investment casting company making propellers. In July of 2008, the assets of Precision Propeller, Inc. were purchased by Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A., and a new company was formed, Precision Propeller Industries, Inc. With PPI's history of manufacturing quality boat propellers and Yamaha's resources, Precision Propeller Industries, Inc. is well positioned to lead in the world marine propeller markets.
