University of Birmingham Simulation Modeling Research Targets Casting Defects at DePuy Johnson & Johnson's Cork Foundry

A research project between DePuy Johnson & Johnson and the University of Birmingham, UK is using the latest simulation and modeling techniques to target casting defects within the DePuy Cork foundry. The project represents one phase of a larger effort, the MedCast Project, which is examining the entire investment casting process.
