Applications Invited for Research Grants

Students of mineral resources throughout the world may apply for thesis research grants, to be made available in 2002, from the USA-based Society of Economic Geologists Foundation.The purpose of the grants is to provide partial support of master's and doctoral thesis research for graduate students. A limited number of grants are also available to undergraduate students to support exceptional honours degree thesis research projects.Grants from the Hugh E Mckinstry Fund are awarded to support research with a substantial field component. The Hickok-Radford Fund awards are granted for field projects in challenging arctic or sub-arctic regions.
