Pertamina inks deal to take 27.9 interest in Medco

Jakarta-Indonesia’s state-owned Pertamina October 15 signed an agreement to take a stake in Encore International, that would indirectly give it a 27.9 shareholding in local oil and gas exploration firm Medco Energi Internasional. Pertamina, in the statement announcing the deal, did not disclose the size of the stake it would buy in Encore, nor its value.
