摘要

During the period 1995-99 the Madrid Regional Authority developed a Madrid Metro Extension, which included the construction of 35 stations. Only one underground excavation has been built. The rest of the stations were produced by the classical Milan method of cut-and-cover. For the design of the cast-in-situ-wall of these stations, a special methodology was developed from the definition of geotechnical parameters, from field and laboratory tests and, mainly, from the personal experience of the authors, to the analysis system selection.
