Flower Type Variability and Instability in Hybrid Combinations Between Seeded and Seedless Grape Cultivars

摘要

A study was conducted on flower type variability and instability in the F_1 generation of hybrid combinations between seeded and seedless grape cultivars. It was established that in crosses between seeded female cultivars with bisexual flowers and male parents with functionally male ones, the variability of the alternative traits tested in the seeded- and seedless groups of seedlings was characterized by 3:1 disintegration. In hybrid combinations involving cultivars with functionally female flowers as female parents and seedless ones - as male parents, the flower type instability in the seeded group of plants was 2:1, and in the seedless one - 1:1. The presence of four functionally flower types in the F_1 generation of the crosses tested conditioneda higher diversity and increased possibilities of selection, suggesting a specific combination between the agrobiological traits of hybrid plants and seedlessness of berries.
